About The Bootstrapping Dad

My name is Nico Bresson, and I'm a French-born family man in my mid-30s living in Munich, Germany, with my wife and two kids.

After graduating from business school, I successively worked in consulting, created and sold my first SaaS company, co-founded and ramped up a DTC (direct-to-consumer) business, and embraced a career as a software developer.

At the bottom of my heart, I'm a builder: I love taking new ideas and bringing them to life from scratch, learning a lot about technology and business along the way.

This is the essence of this blog: sharing what I learn along the way as a dad, an entrepreneur, and a developer.
